Today was fun. The shortwave in NW New Mexico enhanced the totals, if it were not for that all of the snow would have happened just before and after the frontal passage.

Sun snow sun snow sun snow. This will continue for the west half of the county for the next couple of hours.
Here is the latest surface map from WPF, this is just out but was as of 2pm. Very interesting, we will see how things play out. The fronts are basically wrestling right now.
Our next storm should slide in Thursday night or Friday, usually they stall but it could show up earlier on Thursday. A bigger storm may show up around December 12th.
Thanks for following! December 1st was the beginning of Meteorological Winter, how appropriate that we have had a couple fun storms to start it.
As of 4:58 PM, it is still snowing in El Rancho Florida (CR 222). It looks like we have about 4 total inches from the snow.

I Like the new website, and especially the email notifications. I find getting an email more convenient than searching Facebook.
