In most areas it just started snowing within the hour. I have seen an interesting but good wrinkle on the surface maps this morning. But WPC ( the Weather Prediction Center) has not updated their map for the 5 am observations. I want to see that and what the HiRes has for us. I also have to run to the store, so it will probably be 9 before I do a formal  update.
