This afternoon

The HiRes model showed a few stray flurries from Rockwood to Purgatory this afternoon between 1 and 6 this afternoon.  Not unusual, there is nothing much to it, if it even happens.

Friday Storm?

I promised that these models would change, what a great example. Inconsistencies among models is common. When you get several days of either run to run consistency or model to model consistency you start gaining confidence in their forecasts. These models are a mess, though I have seen good storms with worse model runs days before they arrive. Don’t worry yet, the purpose of this is to show you how much things change back and forth. Hopefully overnight they go the other direction.
