...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM TUESDAY TO 9 PM MST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to
  18 inches with locally higher amounts expected.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan
  Mountains including Highways 550, 145 and 149 and their
  associated passes.

* WHEN...Light to moderate snow will begin Christmas Day mid to
  late morning and increase in coverage and intensity late
  Christmas Day and overnight into Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Holiday travel will be very difficult due
  to heavy snow and reduced visibility in blowing snow. Travel
  will be very difficult to impossible.
