I thought I would compare the overnight model runs with the morning runs but I don’t want to wait until later when the GFS  and Euro come out. So as they come out  I will do shorter posts with the new information as it becomes available.

Theoretically, during a storm, the model runs should show less precipitation with each run to account for snow that has already fallen. Remember the NAM is a low-resolution model so you have to look at its higher resolution offspring to see how the precipitation is divided up. Most importantly we look for run to run consistency.
