As I mentioned at the end of my post yesterday, the models had hinted that snow would redevelop towards the morning. This is often the case when there is a lot of moisture available. Even unfavorable winds that would normally not produce snow for us, can produce snow in these situations. At my house, it is 25 degrees and the dewpoint is 24, it is snowing. The dew point is the temperature at which the air is maximally saturated with liquid.
These snow showers will lift out from southwest to the northeast for almost everyone before 11 am. They may continue this afternoon in certain areas above 8,500′.
