Sorting out the details

6 am

Here is what we know so far: The first storm is set to arrive sometime on Saturday. The first storm will be warmer and at this time it is too early to tell where the rain /snow level will end up-although it won’t be an issue for ski areas, I will have a better handle on the elevation in about 48 hours. The second storm should come late Sunday or early Monday and move out sometime on Tuesday. Between the two storms, the snow could really pile up.  Here are the last 5 runs of the Euro model that show the two storm total.

2). Monday during the day

3. Sunday night run

4. Sunday day run

5. Saturday day run1270zeuro

Some of those runs I posted the other day, but I wanted to show them in a row. Consistency=Confidence it is the most important thing to look at as you we get closer to the storms’ arrival.

It is still a little too early to answer specific travel questions. There should not be any travel issues until Saturday and I will pin a page on Facebook on Thursday to address those issues.

Stay tuned.
