In fact, up to four more storms are possible in the next 10 days starting tomorrow morning early. Tomorrow I expect 2-5″ throughout most of the area. With a few exceptions, Wolf Creek and Telluride could do more like 4-8″, Purgatory should do close to that, and oddly enough I am looking for a little upside surprise along and south of the 160 west corridor, between Dwest and Hesperus and the New Mexico border, likely in Long Hollow and Shenandoah areas. Don’t worry, this should not be Creme Brulee snow this time.

Cold air will settle in concurrently with the passage of the trough, and it should stick around for the extended period, it looks like the next couple of storms should be cold storms. Each storm looks bigger, as we go.

Here is the 10-day snow forecast from this morning’s Euro. If every storm does pan out, the snow amounts could be up to 50% higher because of the snow ratios from the colder weather. The other thing is on day 10 it shows that we are about 1/4 of the way through a storm with several inches on the way, I will post it again tomorrow for comparison.

Did anyone else spend most of your day moving snow? I am worn out and not sure where I am going to go with all the new snow I expect over the next 6 weeks!
