Not Done Yet

2 pm

A busy day at Purgatory today. Snow mixed to all rain then graupel and back to snow. Currently in a lull, things pick back up later. I did not have the time to dig in too deep today. Most models are indicating a change over to snow later this evening but before that they hinting at a chance for quite a thunderstorm across the 160 corridor between 4-7 pm. We will see, but the future radar really shows convection lighting things up at that time.

Here is the “still to fall” snow forecast from the new HiRes model.

Here is what the Euro says for the same time period

As I said I couldn’t dig in too deep but I wanted to share what I had. I am anxious to see how this plays out.
