Duh-visory Issued

4 am

According to overnight models, the snow is forecasted to begin gradually decreasing between 6am and 8am. Depending on your elevation, light snow is possible throughout the day. Impactful snow has fallen across the mid-elevations. This type of wet heavy snow is difficult to measure because of compacting. I have measured 9 inches here at DW2 so far and snow is still falling moderately! The snow is not accumulating as deeply on the roads as they retained heat. The trees are bearing a lot of the weight and hopefully, this will not result in power outages.

I will be updating later today after seeing all of the morning models. There is a decent chance we could see additional pieces of energy come through, especially Friday night into Saturday morning.

Here is the “Duh-visory” (a visually confirmed by webcam Winter Weather Advisory) that I mentioned yesterday.

Troubleshooting PayPal: PayPal is one of the leading global payment systems in the world, it is owned by eBay. People very rarely report to me that they are having problems donating, but when they do, it is usually between 6-8 am and 6-8 pm on weekdays. My suspicion is that this is due to increased global traffic for online bill pay, and online shopping (especially with the uptick in online shopping due to the virus). I am sorry for any problems this has caused you and please try again. Thank you!

Lightner Creek got close to a foot. And woke to no electricity. Off at 5:something. On again at 8:16

  3. Twelve plus inches of wet, heavy snow on ground at north end of CR 228 at CR 502 at sunrise !! Started snowing again about an hour ago. Had 2.5-hour power outage and loss of landline telephone service too….all working again at 8:30 A.M..

When I attended FLC in the early 80’s I hung around the radio station. We had “Accu-Window-Weather”. We’d look out the window at a thermometer and report the temp and what we saw.
“Your Accu-Window-Weather Report shows It’s 50 degrees out and it’s raining. There’s a breeze that’s moving the branches around.”
Kinda like a Duh-Visory but just a bunch of kids having fun.

Hello! We are on 502 between Bayfield and Durango, between intersections 501 and 228. We have around 12” of snow and it’s currently still snowing!
