Nothing has changed with the storm coming in tonight. This evening, snow will break out over the northern portion of the forecast area. It will be a quick mover and will drop 2-4 inches on Telluride, Ouray, and Silverton. Ridgway should get 1-3 inches. All other locations in the forecast area may get a heavy dusting but I would be surprised if an inch accumulates.
If you missed my post yesterday, I talked about a stormy period for next week. It is too early for exact details but the models are still expecting more significant snow (over a foot in the mountains) beginning on Monday.
I have not heard from a single person regarding travel. Those traveling early next week will want to start paying attention to the forecast as confidence grows in the storm track.
Next Update Wednesday morning. Thanks for following!
