I got a lot of emails yesterday asking if I could provide a morning smoke forecast.
The vast majority of the forecast area is currently unaffected. The exception is the far northern portions of the forecast area Ridgway, Telluride, and Ouray. The general public is unaffected with an AQ index below 100 but health-sensitive individuals may be affected. Here are the current conditions.

As I mentioned yesterday, the model numbers do not correlate with the air quality index. For the model, the higher the number the more particulates in the air. The mid to upper 20s is the point that it starts to get very noticeable.
