As we get older we are always surprised at what we go through. This is a tough one for me because my 90-year-old Mom is in the hospital through Monday at least. My siblings are taking care of her in Iowa, she may not be able to return to her home ever again. Sorry to unload, I just want everyone to have patience with me in these forecasts.
I will try to figure out this forecast for the lower elevations. What I can say is starting Sunday everything should be snow in the lower elevations. The storms will start again on Monday and keep going, possibly through Friday or Saturday.
I have gotten a lot of soft complaints about the liquid precipitation forecasts. I usually show the snow forecasts when we have cold storms. This is not a cold storm. I will show the snow the parameter forecasts tomorrow early.
I’m sorry to hear about your Mom. She is far more important than us getting any forecasts. Take all the time you need.

It is very difficult to have your parents age. Heck, difficult for us to age! Be easy on yourselves, so many emotions to deal with, especially around the holidays. My Dad died shy of his 90th birthday right before Thanksgiving a few years ago. Although it was a long time coming, it was hard.
