Overall, the models did a pretty good job with Tuesday’s little system. Telluride got 4 inches, Wolf Creek got 3 inches. It is always weird when Ignacio gets more snow than Purgatory but it happened.
The system coming through later today will deliver 3 to 5 inches for Wolf Creek, maybe a dusting to 1 or 2 inches for Telluride, Ouray, Red Mountain, and portions of Archuleta County. Most other areas will be lucky to get a flurry.
It is going to warm up on Friday and Saturday. Things are starting to come together for a Pre-Birthday storm for next week, but the models are still not on the same page regarding how big the storm will be as well as the duration.
I will talk more about next week in my next update, which will be Saturday. Thanks for following and supporting the site!
