Warnings And Advisories For Round One

2/21/22 Monday 7 am

There is a lot to cover this morning. Yesterday I mentioned that there would be a lull in the snowfall Tuesday afternoon. It may continue to snow lightly in the higher elevations and it may stop in the lower elevations. It will then reintensify Tuesday evening and continue throughout the day on Wednesday.

I still believe the heaviest snow will fall with round two of the event beginning Tuesday night. Numerous highlights were posted overnight and they are all below. Everyone in the forecast area with the exception of Aztec is under a Winter Storm Warning or Winter Weather Advisory.

Note that with the exception of Wolf Creek, all of the highlights only run for the first round of the event and are for the 24 hour period beginning today at 2 pm ending at 2 pm on Tuesday. Expect Winter Storm Warnings to be reissued For Tuesday through early Thursday.
