Snow Tonight Mainly Up North

3/13/22 Sunday 1:15 pm

Just a quick note on future updates–the models do not change their run times. This means that with the time change the data posts one hour later than during standard time. So if it seems like I am posting later, that is why.

A quick-hitting storm will bring snow to the northern portions of the forecast area tonight. The snow should get going around 8 pm Here are the latest models showing decent consistency among themselves.

All said and done, Telluride to Red Mountain should pick up 6 to 9 inches. Rico may get 3 to 6 inches. Ouray could see 2 to 4 inches. Purgatory and Wolf Creek may get up to 2 inches, but I am not holding my breath. Mostly, heavy flurries at best everywhere else.

The next chance of snow will be late Wednesday and Thursday.

My next update will be on Tuesday. Thanks for following and supporting the site!
