A system should move into the northern portions of the forecast area later today and deliver 4 to 6 inches of snow from Red Mountain to Telluride. Ouray and Rico could also pick up a couple of quick inches. Over the next couple of days, light snow will likely drift over the divide and fall at Wolf Creek. At this time I do not expect anything significant.
Here are the most recent models’ runs. These totals are through mid-morning on Thursday.

I am currently tracking a storm coming into the state on Sunday. It is too early to tell if it is going to be a Westslope storm or a Front Range storm.
My next update will be either Friday or Saturday. Thanks for following and supporting the site!
