Local Forecast And Severe Weather Outlook

4/24/22 Sunday 7:30 am

Later today a shortwave trough will move through western Colorado. Its path will mainly be north of us but it may just clip our Northern Forecast Area and the Northern San Juans. Snow is expected to develop after 2 pm.

I don’t expect precipitation south of Glacier Club this time. However, I did not expect accumulating snow down to HWY 160 Saturday morning either, so we’ll see. Winds will gust again this afternoon throughout the forecast area, but nothing like they did on Friday.

Here is the Severe Weather Outlook through Monday morning.

Hail
