A Miss Before It Hits

5/1/22 Sunday 1:30 pm
In the last 24 hours, the models have backed off of the minor accumulations in the northern portion of the forecast for this evening. The Euro flipped big and is now showing just a dusting in the higher elevations, to a couple drops further south. The GFS and Canadian are showing a trace of snow to 2 inches in the higher elevations. The high-resolution NAM model concurs with just a couple of inches of snow across the higher elevations to the north.
So here I am again with little to talk about. Monday we should see temperatures cool slightly, but the winds will be less gusty. On Tuesday, temperatures will warm back up and the gusty winds will return. Tuesday night another system will pass to our north.
My next Local Forecast will be on Tuesday. Thanks for following and supporting the site!
