24 more hours of cold weather and a chance for light snow showers developing later today. Then we will enter into a 7 to 10-day period of warmer temperatures and no precipitation. I know everyone or almost everyone, has been looking forward to this. So enjoy it, with the warmer temperatures the winds will become a daily issue.
I would caution everyone regarding getting too comfortable with the warm and dry period because I think this ridge of high pressure will be on the move around the end of next week. I am not going to put my snow thrower away for the season just yet, but I am looking forward to a warmer, boring weather pattern for a while!
I plan to do an extended outlook on Friday or Saturday, the latest extended and seasonal model runs will be out and they may give us a good look and the next 4 to 6 weeks.
