The showers were pretty isolated yesterday. Those who got rain experienced brief heavy downpours. For today, it looks like we will see more widespread coverage of showers and thunderstorms as additional moisture streams up from the south. Some showers will be possible well into the evening. This will continue tomorrow.
Forecast confidence remains low for the weekend as Tropical Storm Hilary’s exact track remains uncertain. Yesterday the track looked like the remnant moisture would stay well west of our forecast area. That is true of most of the moisture, but as of this morning, the models have shifted the track slightly further east. If this shift continues for the next 48 hours it could change the mostly dry weekend outlook. Stay tuned!
