Tuesday Update

6/10/25 Tuesday 4 am

Yesterday, the models were wrong for the right reason. There was a noticeable uptick in moisture. Clouds developed early. All of that was supposed to happen. However, the clouds were dense enough that we never got enough sunshine to “bake” the atmosphere, resulting in convection. It did not happen in my neighborhood; it may have occurred in the higher elevations.

That will be the case over the next couple of days; we need all of the pieces of the puzzle to get a few showers.

Overall, my confidence in the forecast through Thursday is relatively low.

At this moment, it still appears that we will start a hot and dry period on Friday, which is expected to last through at least Sunday.
