Western and Northern La Plata County and Eastern Montezuma and Dolores and San Miguel Counties will likely see additional snow showers develop later this morning. More specifically from north Mancos to Mayday, Rico, Lizard Head pass, Telluride, Purgatory, Silverton and Ouray from SW to NE after 9 am.

I can’t rule out showers and snow showers in other areas with moisture in place as the sun comes out triggering some convection. I don’t expect any significant accumulations anywhere.

Next chance of precip will be Sunday, but at the moment things are trending north. The models really struggle with these shoulder seasons so I am reluctant to look out too much further.
