11/2/24 Saturday 5 am
Nothing has changed for tomorrow and Monday. It will be moist, and cool. Scattered light showers will be expected. Models only pick up on 0.1 to 0.50 inches of liquid across the forecast area. The mountains may get 4 to 8 inches of snow. The disturbance should be out of the area by Monday afternoon.
THEN…
If the European model’s forecast goes as planned, a big storm could arrive on Wednesday. All models show snow at low elevations. The European model was the first to spot this storm. The GFS took longer, and the Canadian model is just starting to figure it out.
If the European model is correct, this would be one of the biggest early November snowstorms since 2008 (or was it 2009?).

Currently, the models agree on the arrival (Wednesday) but disagree on the duration of this storm. The GFS shuts it down early and moves it out of the area. All models show low-elevation snow accumulation.

While not as fun as the European, the GFS run is no slouch for a November 6th storm!
