A storm will move close to us and perhaps even skirt the northern mountains today. The only effect I see from this is a dramatic increase in humidity. That would be a relief!
PWAT (precipitable water values) across the forecast area will reach over 200% of normal for this date by later tonight. No model shows snow or rain, but I would not rule out a few flurries above 8,500 feet.
All models still show a weak storm moving in Christmas day and bringing some snow.
