There may be some changes from midweek on to what had looked like an increasingly wet week. The models are trying to decide where to place the late-week moisture plume. Too early to trust it. I will need to see more run-to-run consistency before I get too excited. These runs could be anomalous I tend to trust the morning model runs more than the overnight model runs.
Here is what the model shows for showers today.
The lighter the color, the lighter the showers and the lower the chances of development. The darker green indicates scattered pockets of potentially heavier precipitation, in this case, right along the divide and Wolf Creek Pass area.
Some of the higher resolution models confirm this area of heavier precipitation near the divide and extend it into the evening.
