Good morning, you awesome people!
Many of you know I am a 365-day-a-year window fan addict. My fan displays the temperature of the incoming air. When you see the temperature drop lower than it has been in the last couple of days, you know drier air is moving into the area.
Many areas in the mid- to higher-elevation regions are in the 40s. Silverton is in the mid 30s. Many lower elevations are in the low 50s.
This dry air will fully engulf the forecast area this weekend. Above-average temperatures, extremely dry conditions, and strong winds will create very critical fire conditions.
Low-pressure placement will funnel (more) smoke from the Arizona fires, which will likely affect air quality.
Here is the shower coverage for today.

Showers should be limited to the higher terrain, with the best chances along the spine of the Continental Divide.
Next week still looks intriguing with a good chance of monsoonal flow setting up by Tuesday. I will discuss this further this weekend.
Once again, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your support. I spent a couple of hours yesterday reaching out individually to express my gratitude. I will continue every day until I catch up. Yesterday, I thought it would take a couple of days. Today, I think it will take several days, but I will email or respond on the platform you used.
