It wouldn’t be weather if there weren’t changes.
For today, more of those scattered showers, primarily in the higher elevations.
Sunday, once again, light afternoon showers. Sunday evening, it looks like a couple of impulses will rotate light showers over the area, but they will be more widespread. I would classify them as “scattered”. More people should see some precipitation, but it should be light. They will move out of the area by Monday afternoon.
That takes us up to Tuesday. Models are jumping on a closed low-pressure system moving through Northeast New Mexico. If the models are correct (and we know how that goes), it will be our best chance for meaningful precipitation (=>0.50 inches). We will see how the models look later today and tomorrow morning.
