There will be a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms this afternoon. They will be mostly dry storms, rather than heavy rain producers. Gusty winds will accompany the storms and it will increase the fire danger across the area. The best chances of this happening are in the higher altitude locations and northern portions of the forecast area.
My long-term outlook has not changed a bit. We should see a pattern change in 8 to 10 days as the monsoon finally arrives in our area.
