1/3/24 Wednesday 3:25 pm
A storm will move in from the west throughout the evening. Snow will begin to fall after midnight across the forecast area.
Smaller storms are always more difficult to forecast than large storms. Fortunately, I have seen a lot of consistency among the models lately. I am still reluctant to forecast double-digit totals in some of the higher-elevation areas. I still believe the highest totals will fall in the mid-elevation areas.
Thanks for not sending me your totals until Friday morning. The snow may get difficult to measure in the lower elevations on Thursday afternoon during the warmest time of the day.
Here is my forecast.
