As promised, here is the first Winter Storm Watch of the season for the higher elevations. Expect revisions (likely upward) before it becomes a Winter Storm Warning.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY
MORNING ABOVE 9000 FEET...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible above 9000 feet. Total snow
  accumulations between 10 and 20 inches with locally higher amounts
  possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan
  Mountains.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon through Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult
  to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday
  evening commute.
